About us
Alan Morris (W. Bridgford & Keyworth) has suggested a variety of activities for our newly formed Notts Network:
The Network could act in a similar way to existing neighbourhood groups, and set up meetings or email contact groups between U3A members, who act as newsletter editors, treasurers, IT teachers, etc., for their mutual interest and support.
Alan suggested other ideas which included inviting along a celebrity to attend a Notts County U3A meeting, mentoring/helping new U3As in our area such as Keyworth, liaising with our local universities (Trent & Nottingham universities) to create working arrangements in a variety of areas, plus raising funds from the County Council and other bodies for collective educational activities.
